Booking & Payment
Upon confirmation, a 20% non-refundable deposit will be payable immediately. Full payment for your holiday must be received in full at least 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. If 'JJ Chalets' does not receive full payment we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.
All payments made by you are not refundable, except as detailed below. Subletting of any part of the reservation to persons other than those named in the booking process is prohibited.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of departure the full cost of the holiday is payable immediately.

- Flights, insurance, lift passes, ski rental, ski lessons, childcare arrangements
- Any other item not specifically mentioned above
Provision of Concierge Services
Both prior to and after confirming your booking, we may discuss further concierge services not included in your booking price such as, but not limited to, private nannies, ski instructors, ski school group lessons, ski guides, lift passes, airport tranfers and equipment rental.
If you have any special requests (for example dietary requirements, cots or room allocation), please let us know at the time of booking.
The availability of such services can in no way be guaranteed.
It is your responsibility to make your group's flight arrangements. Please inform us of your own flight arrangements at least four weeks prior to departure in order for transfers to be arranged accordingly. We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation if you miss any flight(s) or transfer(s), or if they are delayed for any reason. We cannot accept liability if you mislay or destroy travel documents and no credit or refund will be given if you fail to take up a component of your holiday as a result.
If a booking is cancelled you must inform Chez Bear in writing immediately. Upon
receipt of the written cancellation, the following charges are applicable:
- Period before departure : Over 56 days - Charge Deposit
- Period before departure : 28 to 56 days - Charge 75% of holiday cost
- Less than 28 days - Charge 100% of holiday cost
Changes and Cancellations by JJ Chalets
We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if we need to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements or to cancel them. We will also liaise with you in relation to any alternative arrangements to accommodate, but we will have no further liability to you.
You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. Insurance should include and cover against the cost of cancellation by you and assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness. Please read your policy details on receipt and ensure that you take them with you on holiday.
